2026 No. 1 cornerback Brandon Lockhart is on USC’s radar screen

This would be a high-end get for #USC’s secondary.

Los Angeles Loyola High School four-star cornerback Brandon Lockhart is a main target of the USC Trojans for the 2026 class. We could be inching toward a commitment list soon.

The 6-foot-3, 170-pound recruit also has offers from Washington, Oregon, Utah, Arizona, Miami, Nevada, Penn State, San Diego State and, of course, his brother Justin Lockhart’s team, San Jose State.

The cornerback earned first-team all-conference honors. MaxPreps named him first-team freshman All-American.

Lockhart totaled 9 pass break-ups along with 52 tackles, 3 forced fumbles and 3 fumble recoveries in his freshman season last year.

The 247 composite rankings for the 2026 class have Lockhart ranked as the No. 17th player overall in the class. He is the No. 1 cornerback and player in the state of California.
