2024 IOL and Aggie commit Coen Echols has received a 4-Star designation

2024 IOL and Texas A&M commit Coen Echols has continued to rise in the recruiting ranks and has now received a 4-star designation.

Texas A&M’s 4th-ranked 2024 recruiting class is filled with blue-chip talent at nearly every position, culminating in the commitment from five-star athlete Terry Bussey, the most dynamic playmaker the 2024 cycle has to offer.

According to 247Sports, the Aggies have accumulated three five-star prospects, including Bussey, wide receiver Cameron Coleman, and defensive tackle Dominick McKinley. In terms of four-star players, seven of the 22 commits have received the designation, and as of this week, add in former three-star, now four-star IOL Coen Echols.

Needing to add more depth and talent on the offensive line after enduring a host of struggles amid Texas A&M’s ongoing 2023 season, Echols, who is now the second highest-ranked lineman just below four-star OT Blake Ivy, is currently positioned as the 9th-ranked IOL and the 31st-ranked player in Texas.

Standing at 6-3 and just around 285 pounds, Echols has played at left and right guard, possessing quick feet and impressive athleticism while showing incredible power as a run blocker, as his 2022 junior season tape shows a man on a mission, bulldozing any defender who dares enter his path.

After committing to the Aggies last summer, Echols has continued to dominate during his senior campaign at Katy (TX) and is on his way to contributing as soon as he steps on campus in 2024.
