The nation’s No. 1 running back in the 2024 recruiting class is down to five schools.
Five-star running back Jerrick Gibson announced the top five schools left in his recruitment on Tuesday. Texas made the cut alongside Tennessee, Georgia, Miami and Florida.
The Florida native is rated the No. 26 overall prospect for the 2024 cycle. Gibson attended Texas’ Junior Day in January and has an official visit scheduled for June 24.
The Longhorns remain the heavy favorite in his recruitment at this time.
