2024 5-star ATH Terry Bussey places Texas A&M in his Top 5 program list

Texas A&M has made the final cut for 2024 5-star Athlete/Wide receiver Terry Bussey, one of the top offensive weapons in the cycle.

Jimbo Fisher is en fuego, as Texas A&M’s 2024 class has grown tenfold over the last two weeks, adding seven players for a total of 14 in the cycle, currently ranked 13th according to 247Sports Class Rankings.

On Friday, 2024, four-star linebacker Tyanthony Smith announced his commitment to the Aggies, joining Tristian Jernigan and Jordan Lockhart as the third linebacker in the class, so yes, the pain of losing out on 2023 5-star LB Anthony Hill has started to fade away slowly.

One thing remains clear after landing Smith; Texas A&M isn’t finished adding more talent; just hours before Smith’s commitment, 2024 5-star Athlete/Wide receiver Terry Bussey, a current favorite to land with the Aggies, released his Top 5 program list, including Texas, Alabama, Oklahoma, LSU, and of course, Texas A&M. Bussey mirrors the ability of recent wide receiver commit Drelon Miller, who high production at high school level at multiple spots, including quarterback, makes one of the most dynamic athletes in the cycle.

Bussey’s high school stats during his 2022 junior season at Timpson High School in Timpson, Texas, are just insane; throwing for 2,177 yards and 26 touchdowns with a 64% completion percentage as the starting quarterback while rushing for 2,596 yards and 46 touchdowns with a 14-yard per rush average. As a two-way player, Bussey recorded over 115 tackles and 5 interceptions, with 4 returned for touchdowns as a defensive back.

Speed, agility, and football intelligence gained from his position versatility have placed Bussey as the 15th-ranked player in the class, the No.1-ranked Athlete, and the No.2-ranked player in Texas. Can you imagine the 1-2 punch of Terry Bussey and Drelon Miller as soon as the 2024 season? Now that’s an image.
