To avoid sounding like a broken record, Texas A&M is making a name for itself in the 2024 cycle, as several high-profile prospects have included the Aggies in their top program lists in the past couple of weeks as campus visits begin to ramp up this summer.
Last week, 2024 three-star wide receiver Zy’marion Lang, who’s set to enter his final senior season at Palmetto High School in Palmetto, Florida, released his Top 7 program list, which includes USF, South Carolina, West Virginia, Pitt, Kansas, Kansas State, and Texas A&M.
As a former duel-threat quarterback during his 2021 sophomore season, Lang’s transition to wide receiver was a no-brainer, standing at 6-2 and 170 pounds while understanding route concepts and timing due to his time under center. Noted as a highly underrated prospect in the cycle, Lang is currently positioned as the 88th-ranked wide receiver and the 87th-ranked player in Florida, according to 247Sports.

Outside of South Carolina, Texas A&M is by far the most prestigious offer Lang has received. After taking an unofficial visit back in April, it’s good to see that Jimbo Fisher’s Florida recruiting connection is still in full force.
