The recent highlights include Sue Bird’s announced retirement following the 2022 season, Courtney Vandersloot’s clutch gene and the reveal of the 2022 WNBA All-Star starters.

Following last week’s All-Star Game starters announcement, LaChina Robinson and Carolyn Peck announced the ASG reserves during ESPN’s NBA Today segment on Tuesday afternoon. The list of 12 reserves highlighted a number of worthy players who have earned their spot in the game. But it wouldn’t be an All-Star discussion if we didn’t discuss the names that were noticeably left out.
