The buildup to the 2022 NFL schedule release is finally over, and the league has announced the full slate for the season ahead.
For many, the buildup to the schedule has become something of a chore. After all, we already know what teams are playing each other thanks to how the NFL schedule works, now we just know when each game is taking place.
Still, say what you want about the league but they find a way to keep themselves in the national conversation. While the NHL and NBA playoffs are in full swing, much of the sports coverage the past few weeks has contained discussions about games, as the league trickled out some matchups over the past few days.
Perhaps the most — or the only — redeeming quality about the release of the schedule each year is how the individual teams announce the slate on social media. Teams have put together some impressive videos over the years, including this from the Atlanta Falcons from a few seasons ago, as “Game of Thrones” captivated the nation:
