Who is going to win the 2021 Pocono Organics CBD 325?

KYLE LARSON (+210) is the chalk yet again this weekend, as he has been blistering hot lately. He has won three consecutive points races, including last week in Nashville, and he also picked up a checkered flag at the All-Star Race in Texas.

Larson has 12 Cup races under his belt, finishing inside the top 5 on three occasions, while finishing top 10 or better in six runs. He has never won, but he has led 101 laps and never had a DNF at Pocono. Larson is on the pole for Saturday’s run.

Penske Racing’s BRAD KESELOWSKI (+1400) has rather long odds, but great numbers overall at the 2.5-mile Triangle. He has 22 career Cup starts with just one win, but he has finished 10th or better on 10 occasions while leading 196 laps with a 10.95 AFP, second behind only Byron (minimum 6 starts). He’ll have his work cut out for him as he starts from the 18th position.

HAMLIN (+700) has been the gold standard at Pocono, and he is the defending champ after taking last year’s Sunday race in the doubleheader. He is set to go off 10th on Saturday.

2021 Pocono Organics CBD 325 long-shot bets

CHRIS BUESCHER (+15000) earned his first Cup Series victory at Pocono in the Pennsylvania 400 July 31, 2016. He has two finishes inside the top 10 with six top-20 runs and 15 laps led in his 10 career Cup starts at Pocono. He goes off from the 25th position.

Veteran RYAN NEWMAN (+20000) has rather long odds, but he has one Pocono win in 38 career Cup starts with a very respectable 13.3 AFP. In fact, that AFP is eighth best among all active drivers, and sixth among those with at least 10 starts in the shadows of the spires. A small-unit bet is certainly warranted. Newman will fire out from the 19th spot.
