The Ohio State Buckeyes have one of the most-famed football programs in the country, and they’ll be represented at such in the NFL Draft.
Projected to have two of the top three selections coming off their Big Ten-winning 2019 roster, the Buckeyes could have up to seven taken in the first two rounds of the NFL Draft, an event that will be completely virtual due to the widespread coronavirus.
The Buckeyes have over ten players that will make the move to the next level, and while not all will be drafted in the three-day event, the bulk will find a way to a professional team for training in the fall.
That said, in a recent mock draft by Draft Wire’s Luke Easterling, the Buckeyes have five players taken in the first two rounds and six in the first three.
Chase Young and Jeff Okudah went No. 2 and 3 to the Washington Redskins and Detroit Lions respectively, and then the next trio of picks happen in rapid succession late in the second round.

Damon Arnette dropped rather far to No. 50 before snatched up by the Bears. Then J.K. Dobbins and Malik Harrison were taken back-to-back at 61 and 62 by the Titans and Packers.
Among the first 106 picks, Jonah Jackson was the last Buckeye and only third-rounder, taken by the Steelers at No. 102.
That said, if this comes to fruition, Buckeyes fans should consider it a solid win for their program.
