11. New York Jets
Tristan Wirfs | OT | Iowa
A wide receiver is tempting here after the departure of Robby Anderson, but this year’s draft is much deeper at receiver than tackle, and the Jets badly need help at both spots. Wirfs’ athleticism is incredible, and he’s got the versatility to play either tackle spot or even slide inside to guard, if necessary.
12. Las Vegas Raiders
Jerry Jeudy | WR | Alabama
The Antonio Brown experiment failed miserably for the Raiders, leaving them still with a huge need for a true No. 1 receiver. None of them are off the board in this scenario, giving them a chance to add the best, most complete pass-catcher in this class. Jeudy has all the tools to quickly become a dynamic playmaker at the next level.
13. San Francisco 49ers (from IND)
CeeDee Lamb | WR | Oklahoma
When the 49ers traded DeForest Buckner for this pick, I have to think they had a top receiver in mind, and the board falls right to them. Lamb is a complete prospect in his own right, and brings exactly the kind of well-rounded skill set and big-play ability this offense needs. He’s a dangerous addition to an already talented roster.
14. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Mekhi Becton | OT | Louisville
Offensive tackle is easily Tampa Bay’s biggest need, so if any of the top four prospects are still on the board at that position, it’s a no-brainer. There will be questions about Becton’s flagged drug test at the NFL Scouting Combine, he’s got no prior history of failed tests in college, so I don’t think he falls too far. He’s a dominant blocker with tons of upside, and the Bucs just can’t pass that up here.
15. Denver Broncos
Henry Ruggs III | WR | Alabama
Ruggs may be the third receiver off the board, but he’s exactly the one the Broncos need. Courtland Sutton already gives them that big, physical target, but Ruggs brings elite speed and big-play ability the offense currently lacks. Don’t be surprised if the Broncos make a jump up the board and take Ruggs before Jeudy or Lamb.
