On Thursday night, the Alabama Crimson Tide had 4 players drafted in the first round. The fact that Alabama had four players selected in the first 15 picks of the 2020 NFL Draft was the first time in school history for such a feat. But that’s not all. After Thursday night, Nick Saban is officially the only college coach in the NFL common draft era to have produced a first round pick in all 22 positions.

It all started with quarterback Tua Tagovailoa who was drafted as the No. 5 overall pick by the Miami Dolphins.
In 32 career games, he completed 69.3% of his passes for 7,442 yards and 87 touchdowns while only tossing 11 interceptions.
The second Alabama player off the board was offensive lineman Jedrick Wills Jr. who was drafted by the Cleveland Browns as the No. 10 overall pick.
Henry Ruggs III was the third Alabama player drafted in the 2020 NFL Draft by the Las Vegas Raiders as the 12th overall pick.
Last season, Ruggs recorded an impressive 40 receptions for 746 yards and 7 TDs.
In his career at Alabama, he had 98 receptions for 1,716 yards and 24 touchdowns. He also had a rushing touchdown.
The last player drafted from Alabama in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft was wide receiver, Jerry Jeudy.
In his three seasons at Alabama, Jeudy recorded an impressive159 receptions for 2,742 yards and 26 touchdowns.
Going into round two, Alabama still has 8 players on the board: S Xavier McKinney, QB Jalen Hurts, CB Trevon Diggs, LB Terrell Lewis, DT Raekwon Davis, DB Jared Mayden, LB Anfernee Jennings and S Shyheim Carter.
