2020 NFL Mock Draft Second Round Picks 11-20
11 (43) Chicago (from Las Vegas)
CB Jaylon Johnson, Utah
The Bears need a tight end – and they have their choice here – but the secondary needs help even more. Expect them to go with the best corner on the board – either Johnson, or Alabama’s Trevon Diggs.
12 (44) Indianapolis
WR Tee Higgins, Clemson
The Colts have to figure out their future at quarterback, but their window for competing for a title is still open. Giving Phil Rivers a big playmaking receiver is the go-for-it pick.
13 (45) Tampa Bay
RB D’Andre Swift, Georgia
Enough is enough. Swift might be the best running back in the draft, but either he’ll be here or Jonathan Taylor or JK Dobbins will slide on down. The Bucs helped out TB12 with OT Tristan Wirfs in the first round, but they need a running back.
14 (46) Denver
LB Kristian Fulton, LSU
WR Jerry Jeudy fell right into Denver’s lap in the first round. Now it needs to address its secondary. It starts with a good-value corner in Fulton.
15 (47) Atlanta
DE Terrell Lewis, Alabama
The Falcons could’ve gone edge rusher or corner in the first round. They went corner with AJ Terrell, and now they need to work on the defensive line. Lewis isn’t going to be the devastating pass rusher they need, but he’s a starter in the second round.
16 (48) NY Jets
WR Michael Pittman, USC
After helping out Sam Darnold with OT Mekhi Becton in the first round, the Jets have to find a top target. They’ll help out their USC quarterback with an ultra-reliable USC wide receiver.
17 (49) Pittsburgh
S Jordan Chinn, Southern Illinois
The Steelers don’t have a whole lot of early picks – this is it until the 102 – so they have to make this count. They have a good spot to shoot for the stars, and Chinn has the top-shelf tools to become a superstar in the back of the D.
18 (50) Chicago
OT RObert Hunt, Louisiana
It would be nice to go with a tight end here, and the safeties on the board will be enticing, but assume the Bears go with the best defensive back on the board with their first pick, and then go need with an athletic young offensive tackle.
19 (51) Dallas
TE Cole Kmet, Notre Dame
As if Dallas didn’t do enough to boost its passing game with CeeDee Lamb in the first round, it takes the tools guy at tight end. This is the right time for the freakish Notre Dame athlete to go, and it’s the right team for him.
20 (52) LA Rams
RB JK Dobbins, Ohio State
The Rams can mess around with their O line five picks later. With their first pick, they’ll add a do-it-all part of their running back rotation with a back who might just play the lead role.
