The 2020 NFL Draft has finally arrived, bringing the culmination of a months-long predraft process that has been challenging and unique in many ways.
Teams and prospects alike will be taking part in the league’s first every all-virtual draft experience, with all parties interacting with the process from their various homes.
As we prepare for Thursday night’s action, here are the latest rumors and news reports from across the league:
The Raiders have shopped starting guard Gabe Jackson in recent weeks… according to several GMs. The asking price is not high.

The Ravens, according to multiple sources, were one of the teams that made a run at DeAndre Hopkins before the Texans traded him to Arizona. If they draft a receiver tonight, it won't be a huge surprise.

From NFL Draft Kickoff: The #Lions and #Dolphins have been discussing a potential trade up for Miami to go to No. 3, but the #Jaguars have been in touch with Detroit, as well (possibly for a top left tackle). pic.twitter.com/3mw2RnSUsf

The Jaguars have picks 9 & 20 tonight and two first-round picks next year, courtesy of the Jalen Ramsey trade. They may (eventually) get more 2021 ammo by trading Yannick Ngakoue. And, tonight, there are trade-down scenarios that could further enrich their future-picks stockpile

From NFL Draft Kickoff: The IT people are the ballers, and GMs are confident it's all going to work for tonight's draft. Sidenote — It's been cool to hear how many coaches & GMs appreciate being home with their families over the last month. pic.twitter.com/mentsh8Nw0

I spoke w/Dr. Thomas Byrd, hip specialist in Nashville; he was independent evaluator for Tua’s medical recheck. 3 things struck me:
1) his x-rays looked “pristine”
2) CT scan of right hip joint space mirrors the left
3) “looks as good as (he’s) ever seen 5 mos out” post-injury— Stephania Bell (@Stephania_ESPN) April 23, 2020
