Analysis: Having the Chargers take an offensive tackle at No. 6 overall came close to fruition, but ultimately, I decided to stick with the long-term option at quarterback instead.

If Los Angeles goes in a different other than quarterback, expect Tristan Wirfs, Mehki Becton or Andrew Thomas to be the pick, especially after the team traded starting left tackle Russell Okung to the Panthers for offensive guard Trai Turner.
