Previous pick: Jeffrey Okudah, CB, Ohio State

Analysis: The Lions end up being the biggest beneficiaries for Miami trading up for Tagovailoa, as it opens the door for them to draft the best overall player available: Chase Young out of Ohio State.

Of course, Detroit would’ve been fine with the addition of cornerback Jeffrey Okudah, who was the pick in our last mock, but teaming Young up opposite 2019 free agent prize Trey Flowers is too good to pass up for Matt Patricia’s defense.
