2020 NFL Draft: Clint Lamb’s final mock draft

The 2020 NFL Draft is set to begin on Thursday, so it’s finally time to release my final mock draft before things get underway. This year was far-and-away the most difficult group I’ve ever had to predict due to the uncertainty surrounding the …

19. Las Vegas Raiders (via CHI) – Javon Kinlaw, IDL, South Carolina

Analysis: The slight draft day fall for Kinlaw ends with the Raiders selecting the former Gamecock.

With Johnathan Hankins, Maliek Collins, Maurice Hurst and P.J. Hall already on the roster, Kinlaw might seem like overkill, but his presence will take the rotation of that group to another level.

20. Jacksonville Jaguars (via LAR) – Kristian Fulton, CB, LSU

Analysis: After choosing to take Jerry Jeudy over C.J. Henderson at No. 9, the Jaguars are still in desperate need of a cornerback after trading Jalen Ramsey and A.J. Bouye.

During the 2019 season, Fulton was often overlooked in LSU’s secondary due to the presence of Grant Delpit and standout freshman Derek Stingley, but he’s a first-round talent who should fill a major void in Jacksonville.

21. Philadelphia Eagles – Justin Jefferson, WR, LSU

Analysis: It’s become apparent in recent weeks that Justin Jefferson should be the next receiver off the board following the big three: Jeudy, Ruggs and Lamb.

The Eagles could choose to trade up for one of those guys, but it’s also possible the current selection will be retained and they’ll draft Jefferson to eventually become a top receiving option for Carson Wentz.

The days of Alshon Jeffery and DeSean Jackson in Philadelphia are numbered.
