Trevon Diggs, Alabama

Diggs has first-round talent, but some analysts see him sliding into Day 2 of the draft. If his name sounds familiar, that’s because yes, his brother is recently acquired Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs. Could they find themselves on the same NFL roster?

Diggs, at 6-foot-1, 205 pounds, has the size and ball skills to compete early in his career. At Alabama, he played in a variety of coverage schemes, which will be ideal in his transition to the professional game. He recorded 37 total tackles, eight passes defensed, and three interceptions during his senior season with the Crimson Tide. Also to consider, it’s Alabama, year in and year out on of the best defensive units in college football.

Damon Arnette, Ohio State

As a Buckeye, Arnette matched up against several high-caliber wide receivers during his college career. At the next level, he will excel with a team featuring a zone coverage. That’s exactly what Sean McDermott’s defense calls for and Arnette does a good job of tackling in the open field. The only knock on him is that he does not match well one-on-one against a burner. Otherwise, he has the versatility to play in different schemes.
