Davon Hamilton | Ohio State

Hamilton was a full-time starter for the Buckeyes for the first time during his senior season, and he put together a solid year. Hamilton played very well while rushing the passer, recording six sacks. He has the power to bull-rush opposing linemen. Hamilton found his way into the backfield often, as 9.5 of his 28 total tackles were made behind the line of scrimmage. While he did well when pressuring quarterbacks in college, he will need to expand his pass-rush moves at the next level to be successful. Hamilton also plays adequately against the run. At the recent scouting combine, Hamilton put up a position-group high 33 reps on the bench press.

Raekwon Davis | Alabama

Davis is a powerful tackler who envelopes opposing interior linemen and discards them at will. While he has impressive physical traits at 6-foot-6, 311 pounds, his inconsistency to dominate at the position has been a cause for concern. Nevertheless, as he finds himself at the pro level, there will be a defensive line coach and coordinator who will nurture Davis’ skills along the way. At the combine, Davis ran an impressive 5.12 second 40-yard dash time for his size, which could cause him to do selected before the Bills’ pick.
