Julian Okwara, Notre Dame
Okwara had a breakout 2018 season, recording 38 tackles, eight sacks, and one interception. His 2019 campaign was cut short with a fractured fibula injury, which occurred in November. During his time on the field, he showed good burst and athleticism from the edge position. Okwara still needs to refine some secondary rush moves. However, he consistently finds his way into the backfield of opponents. His speed is an asset, and he could align nicely as Jerry Hughes’ heir apparent.

Curtis Weaver, Boise State
Weaver is another prospect who excels at getting after the quarterback. He had 13.5 sacks last year and 19.5 tackles for loss. Weaver ‘s not the most explosive player, but he finds a way to fill gaps and attack quarterbacks. He also defends against the run fairly well. The main question: can he consistently play with his hand in the dirt? He did both while at Boise State. At the combine, he posted a 7.0 time in the 3-cone drill and a 4.27 second short shuttle time, displaying his burst. He was the 2019 Mountain West Defensive Player of the Year.
Couldn't stop laughing after this Curtis Weaver sack celebration…
