2020 Mountain West Football Schedule Is Out

Football is one step closer to being here.

The Mountain West football schedule for 2020 is out so we know now when hte league games will take place instead of just knowing what teams are at home and what teams are on the road.

The television networks and kick times are not yet known yet and there could be a few changes as in the past with Thursday and Friday night games being shuffled. A reminder that the Mountain West has a new TV deal that includes CBS Sports Network and Fox Sports, with a third-tier rights being worked on now which could including streaming or regional sports networks.

Ther are no Thanksgiving or Black Friday games as of now. In the TV contract, CBS can air a maximum of five Friday night games excluding special dates which Black Friday would fall under and not count against those five games.

That five maximum Friday games goes for Fox Sports so there could be as many as 10 games on Friday without including Black Friday which could possibly hold two for each network.

Here are some of the highlights of the schedule:

Week 0 is a thing and there are four Mountain West games on Aug. 29
There are four teams that finished the season ranked to end last year in Utah, Oregon, Penn State and Navy.
22 games are against teams that earned a bowl berth in 2019
