Week 11: Cowboys 23, Browns 20 (OT)

The “choker” label that dogged Tony Romo for much of his career almost caught up to him on a wild day in Arlington. Under duress all afternoon due in large part to the absence of Tyron Smith for most of the game, Romo was sacked seven times by the Cleveland defense. Trailing 13-0 at the half, Romo led a comeback and hooked up with Dez Bryant late in the fourth quarter to take a 17-13 lead.

An Anthony Spencer strip sack with under six minutes to go had the Cowboys in position to kill the clock, until Romo fumbled the ball away as he was hit by the Browns’ Frostee Rucker. A subsequent Cleveland touchdown and a Dan Bailey field goal as time expired sent the game to overtime. Miles Austin was at the center of a controversial replay call in the extra period, but after the teams traded punts, Bailey kicked out a win once again.
