DT DaVon Hamilton | Ohio State

DaVon Hamilton wasn’t a starter until his senior season, but made some interesting moves at the combine. He topped all defensive linemen with 33 reps on the bench press and then had the best vertical jump among defensive tackles at 29.5 inches. Hamilton could be a potential space-eater in the middle of the Bills’ defensive line rotation.

DT Ross Blacklock | TCU

Ross Blacklock actually said one of his pre-draft mentors is Bills defensive end Jerry Hughes. He also went to TCU. Blacklock did say he met with the Bills already at the combine, so there’s interest as well. Blacklock was clocked in the 40-yard dash at 4.9 seconds and followed that up with a jump of 29 inches in the vertical. Not bad for a 6-foot-3, 290-pound dude.

DE Jonathan Greenard | Florida

Like Blacklock, Jonathan Greenard also had a meeting with the Bills at the combine and also stood out. Greenard did himself a lot of favors by running a 4.87-second 40-yard dash at 263 pounds. He put up 22 reps on the bench press as well. Greenard is another versatile prospect, but for the Bills, would likely be a 4-3 hand in the dirt player.

CB CJ Henderson | Florida

The Bills also met with CJ Henderson at the combine but he’s a bit of stretch to see the Bills pick. He could be a Day 1 selection and the Bills might opt to go with other positions early in the draft. But if he’s around a bit longer the Bills could be interested and his combine showed why. He ran a 4.39-second 40-yard dash, put up 20 bench press reps with a 37.5-inch vertical jump. By most accounts, he looked fluid during other situational workouts as well.

S Tanner Muse | Clemson

Another potential Lorenzo Alexander type guy, Tanner Muse lined up as a deep safety for Clemson but could play a linebacker-type role at the next level, too. But he’s not as established as a pass rusher, although he did have 3.5 sacks over the past two seasons. Muse ran the 40-yard dash in 4.41 seconds with 20 bench press reps and a 34.5-inch vertical jump.
