What about Duke?

Duke Williams played in the playoffs. He was inactive for half the season, had a big game against the Jets in a meaningless Week 17 game, then saw four catches on 10 targets for 49 yards. Not a great game, but he got playing time over Robert Foster, who was inactive.

In a very McDermott way, Williams evidently had earned it.

“Somebody else had earned it to that point and then we made a decision based on what had trended over the last couple of weeks of the season, and also in the Jets game and the week leading up to the Jets game. That’s the reason why we went that direction with Duke,” McDermott said.

The Bills should look to upgrade from Williams and Foster this offseason, though.
