Timeout, Frank Gore run, spike it?
McDermott didn’t mince words here. The Bills, at one point, called a timeout on third-and-long, ran the ball with Gore, which like many of his runs, went no where, and then spiked it just before half. It wasted 15 seconds on the clock and gave the Bills little production.
“That’s a series of calls that we want back,” McDermott said.
At least it wasn’t as bad as this suggestion…
I think the Bills should have taken Booger's advice here. Gain a few yards on 3rd down, and then spike the ball on 4th down while trailing by 3 late in the game. pic.twitter.com/z4mpaYMgte
