100 University of Alabama student-athletes earn spring degrees

This spring, 16 former and current Alabama football team earned degrees from the University of Alabama this spring.

On Friday, the University of Alabama announced that 100 total student-athletes earned degrees this spring.

Of the 100, 16 former and current Alabama football team earned spring degrees from the university.

It’s important to note that majority of these student athletes had their season affected, and some even cancelled, due to the coronavirus.

“The Crimson Tide’s graduates included 17 All-Americans, four Academic All-Americans, 10 who were on a national championship team, 23 who were on a Southeastern Conference championship squad, as well as a World and NCAA Champion, a CoSIDA Academic All-American of the Year, an NCAA Elite 90 Award winner and a pair of NFL veterans.”

As for football, Alex Leatherwoo, Le’Ron McClain,  Chris Goode, Deonte Brown,  Joseph Bulovas, Thomas Fletcher, Miller Forristall, Nigel Knott, Chadarius Townsend, Daniel Wright, Connor Adams, Joe Donald, Sean Kelly, John Parker and Loren Ugheoke all earned degrees this spring. Forristal is the only football player of the 16 who earned a master’s degree this spring.
