A year ago Louisville was perhaps the single-worst Power-Five team in all of college football as they went 2-10, but were win-less against the ten P5 opponents they played. Not only were they win-less, but they allowed an average of 50.5 points in those ten games while playing just one of those opponents within two-possessions.
Fast forward a year.
Bobby Petrino is out,(probably riding his motorcycle off into the sunset somewhere, just hopefully not crashing it) and Scott Satterfield is in.
Talk about a culture change – the Cardinals started the season by keeping things much more interesting with then No. 9 Notre Dame than just about anyone thought they could.
After defeating North Carolina State on Saturday they improved to 4-3 in ACC play on the year and 6-4 overall, locking up a bowl bid that seemed like a pipe-dream just a couple of months ago.
