No. 9 College Football Shows This World Isn’t All Bad
We get caught up in the world of social media sometimes where everything sucks.
Your football team, your job, your friends or your family and often times we take to it to vent our frustrations for the world to see. If you’re not careful you can get swallowed up and be left thinking this world is an entirely awful place and there is no point in living.
You’d be wrong in thinking so and college football showed a few different ways it isn’t all bad on Saturday.
At Texas A&M the Aggie faithful honored South Carolina quarterback Ryan Hilinski by being silent and holding up three fingers at the start of the third quarter. Hilinski’s brother was a quarterback at Washington State who fell victim to suicide in January of 2018. Cool moment.
Sometimes it’s bigger than sports. Fans at Kyle Field stood in silence with three fingers up on the first play of the third quarter to honor South Carolina QB Ryan Hilinski’s late brother, Tyler: pic.twitter.com/qY0fuIXbyn

There was more to be found if you looked across the nation.
In South Bend the Irish beat up Navy 52-20 behind four touchdowns from Chase Claypool. After the game the rivals shared in the playing of each other’s alma-maters, one of the gentler but cooler traditions in college football.
God. Country. Notre Dame.
This series is more than football. We are proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with our brothers from Navy.#GoIrish ☘️ pic.twitter.com/x5Jxdko2wa
