Carl Tucker is a new arrival for Alabama, but he’s at least got plenty of college experience after spending four seasons at North Carolina.
Will he start? Maybe not, but he’ll be the most complete tight end on the roster, and that’s a skillset the coaching staff was looking to add during the offseason — even with all the talented bodies at the position.
