1 set of horrendous stats explain why the Giants fired Jason Garrett

Not a great tenure.

Look, the New York Giants’ woes aren’t ALL because offensive coordinator Jason Garrett has been at the helm of a Big Blue offense that’s just been awful for a couple of years.

But … they haven’t helped.

And on Tuesday, just a day after the Giants scored all of 10 points against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the franchise announced it was relieving Garrett of his duties.

Giants fans everywhere were pleased, although it seems like his successor will be Freddie Kitchens, so who knows if brings some of the magic he gave to the Browns in 2018.

So why let go of Garrett? This should explain a lot:
