New Orleans Pelicans forward Zion Williamson and Washington Wizards forward Rui Hachimura will unveil a new exclusive Air Jordan XXXIV colorway during the season restart this month at the Walt Disney World Resort near Orlando, Florida.

Of course, the two players signed endorsement contracts with Jordan Brand prior to the start of the 2019-20 season and have worn the Air Jordan 34 sneaker throughout the year. According to Nick DePaula of ESPN, they will help debut an exclusive new Air Jordan 34 colorway.

Williamson will be debuting his second new exclusive shoe during the restart, which was designed by his younger brother, Noah. The shoe will feature a crayon graphic and a message inscribed in the insoles from his brother: “To Zion, love Noah.”

Meanwhile, Hachimura will be wearing an Air Jordan 34 sneaker that pays homage to his multiracial background. The shoe will feature Japanese and Beninese textile prints on the left shoe and Japanese cherry blossoms on the right shoe.

In addition to Williamson and Hachimura, fellow Jordan Brand athlete Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtics will also debut a new exclusive colorway. His shoe will pay homage to his St. Louis roots and will feature animal prints and textures.

With the NBA season extended through the summer due to the coronavirus pandemic, the timeline for apparel companies to debut new shoes was moved up as players will have an opportunity to unveil their new shoes on the court sooner than anticipated.
