USC in the running for four-star cornerback Bobby Taylor

The USC Trojans made the top-12 for four-star cornerback Bobby Taylor, whose dad played football at Notre Dame.

Four-star cornerback Bobby Taylor announced his top-12 schools on Twitter over the weekend, and the USC Trojans were on the list.

USC was joined by ASU, TCU, Texas, Texas A&M, Alabama, Oklahoma, LSU, Florida State, Arkansas, Auburn and Baylor.

Notably, Notre Dame was not included on the list – even though Taylor’s father, Bobby Taylor, was an All-American defensive back for the Irish in the 1990’s.

The younger Taylor is ranked 28th among cornerbacks, according to 247Sports, and is No. 32 in the state of Texas.

He comes from Katy High School in Texas, the same place as running back Brandon Campbell, who committed to USC back in March.

The Trojans and cornerback coach Donte Williams have been very active adding to their secondary this offseason, adding four defensive backs in the class of 2021; corners Calen Bullock, Anthony Beavers, Jr., Jaylin Smith and safety Xamarion Gordon.

247Sports experts currently predict Taylor will go to Texas A&M, with Oklahoma in the mix as well.
