The Zach Wilson era began last night as he made his first NFL start in the Jets’ preseason win over the Giants at MetLife Stadium.
The No. 2 pick in last April’s NFL draft completed 6 of 9 passes for 63 yards with no touchdowns and no interceptions.
It was a brief appearance but it was one that allowed the rookie QB to get some experience facing another team’s No. 1 defense and he showed some very good signs as to why he was the No. 2 pick in the draft.
