Yannick Ngakoue continues to fire off frustrated trade demands on social media

He says his “time is up.”

Yannick Ngakoue has no patience left with the Jacksonville Jaguars. The defensive end has wanted a trade for over a year. But his “time is up,” he said on Twitter. He wants out. Right now.

He posted a series of tweets and posts on Instagram on Tuesday to express his discontent with the Jaguars organization.

“Let’s agree to disagree,” he wrote on Twitter. “Why hold a man from taking care of his family. It’s obvious my time is up in my current situation. Let’s both move on @Jaguars.”

The Jaguars placed the non-exclusive franchise tag on Ngakoue this offseason, which has him earning $17.8 million in 2020. If Ngakoue wants to leave, he could draw offer sheets from other teams. And of course, he can continue to demand a trade in hopes Jacksonville will oblige.

Ngakoue also put a message on Instagram, which attracted cornerback Jalen Ramsey’s attention. Ramsey demanded a trade on multiple occasions in Jacksonville. Ultimately, the team granted him a trade when they dealt him in a blockbuster to the Los Angeles Rams.

If it’s any consolation to Ngakoue, he is drawing trade interest, according to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo. Maybe he’ll move ahead of the 2020 NFL Draft.
