XFL: Sea Dragons beat Renegades 24-15, win 5th straight

Seattle is as hot as the fire their mascot breathes

The Seattle Sea Dragons are as hot as can be in the rebooted XFL, and they kept their winning ways going with a 24-15 win over the Arlington Renegades. Seattle has now won 5-straight games following their 0-2 start.

It was a fine afternoon for quarterback Ben DiNucci, who completed 21-of-32 passes for 266 yards and one touchdown pass. While he did throw an interception, DiNucci made an impact with his legs, leading the team with 52 rushing yards on nine carries.

Although the Sea Dragons could only muster a field goal in the second half, their defense picked up the slack to defend their 21-9 halftime lead. Arlington only managed six points off one touchdown in the fourth quarter.

By nature of playing on Friday, Seattle has temporarily moved ahead of the St. Louis Battlehawks for second place in their division. The Battlehawks take on the South Division leaders, the Houston Roughnecks on Sunday morning, pacific time.
