Think football season is over now that the Super Bowl has wrapped up? Think again. The 2020 XFL season is set to begin Saturday.

Today, we are taking a look at all of the XFL sports betting odds for the XFL Championship to find your best future bets before the season kicks off.

2020 XFL Champion Odds

Odds via BetMGM, last updated February 4, 2020.

Dallas Renegades Odds (+250)

The favorites to win the first XFL Championship since it’s rebirth is the Dallas Renegades, led by former Oklahoma head coach Bob Stoops. Led by former Steelers’ quarterback Landry Jones, the Renegades have the best combination of quarterback talent and proven skill players. Expect them to be one of the last teams left by the end of the season. And at +250, they are pretty good bet to win the championship as they have a proven roster with an experienced coaching staff.

New York Guardians Odds (+350)

Coming in with the second-best odds to win the XFL Championship is the New York Guardians. Led by former Raiders’ quarterback Matt McGloin, there just isn’t a ton of reasons to be excited about this offense. It’s coached by Kevin Gilbride, who is the oldest head coach in the league. Considering passing on the Guardians to win the championship in favor of teams with more enticing odds.

Los Angeles Wildcats Odds (+450)

Led by former NFL quarterback Josh Johnson, the Wildcats may have the best overall quarterback in all of the XFL. However, a receiving corps led by former NFL washouts Nelson Spruce and Tre McBride isn’t exactly thrilling. But the Wildcats are a fun XFL futures bet based off their quarterback alone. Keep an eye on former Baylor defensive end Shawn Oakman, who is playing in his first football game since winning the Senior Bowl MVP in 2016.

Tampa Bay Vipers Odds (+550)

Another fun mid-range bet is the Tampa Bay Vipers at +550. With former Bears head coach Marc Trestman leading the Vipers, they have a roster full of talent. At quarterback is former Georgia Bulldog star Aaron Murray, who also played in the AAF just a year ago. There is also several other AAF stars on this roster, such as Seantavius Jones and Rannell Hall. Considering this staff has Jerry Glanville as their defensive coordinator, they are going to be must-see TV each week.

Houston Roughnecks Odds (+750)

If you want to bet on a team that is guaranteed to have a fun offense, look no further than the Houston Roughnecks with June Jones as their head coach. Jones is one of the masterminds behind the run-and-shoot offense and will be looking to use that style of offense again in the XFL.

While the starting quarterback has yet to be named, one would assume that former NFL quarterback Connor Cook will eventually get the nod. The Roughnecks also have former NFL contributors such as Sammie Coates and Andre Williams on their roster as well. It’s also important to note that the Roughnecks don’t have a tight end on their roster. So don’t plan on them running the ball very often.

DC Defenders Odds (+750)

One of the better longshot bets is the DC Defenders at +750, as former National Championship quarterback Cardale Jones will be leading the charge. Coached by Pep Hamilton, the DC Defenders should have one of the more enjoyable offenses to watch with former NFL receivers Eli Rogers and Simmie Cobbs on the roster, as well.

St. Louis Battlehawks Odds (+1000)

At 10-1 odds to win the XFL Championship is the St. Louis Battlehawks, coached by former NFL tight end coach Jonathan Hayes. While the Battlehawks are littered with former NFL talents like Christine Michael, Matt Jones, and Marquette King, former Ole Miss quarterback Jordan Ta’amu doesn’t inspire much confidence at the team’s most important position. Consider passing on the Battleahawks’ futures odds.

Seattle Dragons Odds (+1200)

And the team with the worst odds to win the XFL Championship is the Seattle Dragos, coached by former NFL quarterback Jim Zorn. While quarterback Brandon Silvers had some success in the AAF, the lack of experience from the coaching staff and the quarterback position makes the Dragons a tough bet, even at 12-1 odds. Keep an eye on former Navy QB/RB/WR Keenan Reynolds as a possible playmaker for the Dragons.
