Xbox is giving away an oil painting of The Rock

This is every Xbox superfan’s dream.

Many years ago, a young man named Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson stood alongside Bill Gates to introduce the original Xbox — and you can win an oil painting of this, erm, legendary moment.

During the Xbox 20th Anniversary livestream on Monday, Microsoft announced the Xbox Vault, where fans can sign up for a giveaway of Xbox-themed merch. One item, in particular, is catching everyone’s eye, though: an oil painting of The Rock during the original Xbox’s reveal.

Back at CES 2001, The Rock helped Bill Gates unveil the console live on stage. It’s a promotional moment that’s lived on in the games industry for two decades now just due to how absurd it is from a glance. You can watch a short video of that hilarious encounter below.

The Rock was on hand for Xbox’s 20th Anniversary event to announce the giveaway, as well as roast himself a bit for that original unveiling. The painting itself is briefly in the video below as well.

Head over to Xbox Vault and sign up for the giveaway  here  if you’re interested. It would be quite the living room centerpiece, that’s for sure.

Microsoft also announced  Halo Infinite’s  surprise multiplayer beta, 76 games coming to  Xbox’s backward compatibility program and even a  Halo TV series at the Xbox 20th Anniversary event.
