INGLEWOOD – Calif. — The fans come to life for the first time on night 2 as Brock Lesnar makes his way down the ramp to face the Nigerian Giant, Omos. Corey Graves notes that even if Lesnar goes down to defeat, he’s going to go down giving the fight of his life.
Their first exchanges don’t go well for Lesnar, who gets easily scooped up and slammed as well. Another body slam follows in short order as MVP urges on his client.
Omos uses repeated kidney punches to keep Lesnar down, then lifts him into a bearhug. Brock is smashed into the turnbuckles, finally staggering out of the corner and walking right into another body slam.
And its … another bearhug. Lensar battles his way out of the hold, but Omos chokeslams him for a near fall. Lesnar is whipped into a corner, but Omos misses on a charge and Lesnar gets his claws on him for two German suplexes. Make that three.
Lesnar tries to get Omos up for an F-5, but his legs buckle. Second time’s the charm, however, and it’s enough to keep his very large opponent down for three.
