WR Rondale Moore’s knee injury not serious, should play vs. Eagles

He popped up on the injury report Thursday with a knee injury but is expected to play against the Eagles.

The Arizona Cardinals have taken several hits to the wide receiver room this season. They got Rondale Moore back after three weeks, missing time with a pulled hamstring, but he suffered a knee injury this week in practice and appeared on the injury report Thursday.

However, there is good news.

According to Pro Football Network’s Aaron Wilson, Moore did not suffer a serious injury and is expected to play on Sunday when the Cardinals host the Philadelphia Eagles.

This is big because fellow receiver Antoine Wesley, who was designated to return from injured reserve, apparently suffered a quad injury and might be done for the season.

A.J. Green, who missed last week with a bone bruise in his knee, will also hopefully return.

DeAndre Hopkins has two games remaining on his suspension.

Moore, in his season debut, had three receptions for 11 yards against the Panthers.

The Cardinals and Eagles play Sunday at State Farm Stadium at 1:25 p.m. Arizona time.
