Phoenix Mercury superstar Diana Taurasi achieved a goal on Thursday night that no other WNBA player ever has.
Taurasi notched her 10,000th point during the Mercury’s 91-71 victory over the Atlanta Dream, making her the first WNBA player to ever cross that point threshold.
She’s perhaps the best-ever to take the court in the WNBA, and it was a fitting accomplishment for such a vital athlete to the sport.
