Wisconsin’s highly anticipated game against Notre Dame on October 3rd officially has a kickoff time. The game between the Badgers and Fighting Irish inside Lambeau Field will officially kickoff at 6:30 p.m. as the game can be seen on NBC.
This will mark the first game between Wisconsin and Notre Dame since 1964 when the Badgers lost to the Irish 31-to-7.
Despite the long layoff between the two programs the two teams will play again during the 2021 season as the game will take place on September 25th in Chicago.
This will mark the second game Wisconsin has played at Lambeau Field under head coach Paul Chryst as the Badgers beat LSU 16-to-14 in 2016 to open the season.
After making the college football playoffs for the first time under head coach Brian Kelly in 2018 the Irish went 11-2 in 2019 as they were able to cap their season off with a win over Iowa State in the Camping World Bowl.
Wisconsin will play seven teams during the 2020 season that made a bowl game this past season, which includes their first five of six opponents that went bowling.
Wisconsin will officially open the season up on Friday, September 4th against Indiana at home the game time against the Hoosiers will be announced at a later date.
