J.J. Watt (11th overall in 2011)
Not much needs to be said about the legacy and greatness of J.J. Watt.
The Wisconsin native began his college career at Central Michigan as a tight end where the coach tried to move him to the offensive line after his freshman season. Instead of staying with his scholarship, Watt decided to transfer to Wisconsin and walk-on to the Badger football team.
Watt then played two seasons in Madison where, as everybody knows, he became one of the dominant defensive line forces in college football.
His production during the two years–74 total tackles, 21 tackles-for-loss, 11.5 sacks and one interception–was enough to have the Houston Texans call his name at the No. 11 slot in the 2011 NFL Draft.
Since arriving in Houston, Watt has been named the NFL Defensive Player of the Year three times, has led the league in sacks twice, in tackles three times and in forced fumbles once, and all this in addition to catching three balls on offense all for touchdowns.
Watt will return to Houston in 2020 for the tenth season of his already-illustrious NFL career.
