After being only a three-star recruit coming to Wisconsin out of high school Travis Frederick became the first true freshman to ever start a game on the offensive line for the Badgers.

Frederick’s college career–which included being named as a first-team All American by Pro Football Weekly–was enough to have the Dallas Cowboys select him 31st overall in the 2013 NFL Draft.

Frederick played seven seasons in Dallas during which, aside from missing all of the 2018 season, he was a model of consistency and was arguably the best center in football for a majority of those years. His accolades include being named to five Pro Bowls, four straight from 2014-2017, and being named a member of the first-team All-Pro in 2016.

The Wisconsin native recently retired following the 2019 season.
