Wisconsin returns home tomorrow for an out-of-conference matchup with the Georgia Southern Eagles.
The Badgers’ 1-1 record largely reflects the play on the field thus far through two weeks. There have been flashes of the team we expect to see under head coach Luke Fickell and offensive coordinator Phil Longo, yet inconsistency and minor growing pains have been a large hindrance.

Good news for Fickell and his team: the 2-0 Eagles enter Madison ranked No. 83 in ESPN’s SP+. They enter with a respectable offensive attack yet one of the worst-rated defenses in the nation.
If there was ever a good opportunity for Wisconsin to find its gear, it’s this game.
