Wisconsin versus Northwestern rescheduled for Monday

After the game was postponed Saturday, Wisconsin will now take on Northwestern in Big Ten road matchup Monday at 5:30 PM.

After the game was originally supposed to be played Saturday, the Badgers will now face off with Northwestern on the road at 5:30 PM on Monday. The contest was pushed back two days as a result of a COVID-19 outbreak within the Wildcats’ program, but it will ultimately take place now just a couple days later.

Both teams will come into the contest with a 12-5 overall record while the Badgers have a slight edge with a 4-3 Big Ten record versus Northwestern’s 3-3 mark to this point.

Wisconsin beat Penn State 63-60 in Tyler Wahl’s return to the lineup Tuesday following a three-game absence with an ankle injury. The Badgers lost all three contests without the senior forward, but with the victory over the Nittany Lions, the team improved to 12-2 with him on the court this season.

For Northwestern, Monday’s matchup will be their first contest since they lost to Michigan 85-78 last Sunday (Jan. 15).
