Wisconsin’s junior safety Hunter Wohler was ranked as a top 15 spring practice standout by Matt Zenitz of On3.com. The 6-foot-2, 210-pound athlete is expected to be a huge part of the Badgers’ secondary in 2023.
Limited by injuries, Wohler only played in six games last season, recording 21 tackles and an interception. This spring, he’s been flying around at practice, making countless plays as the offense tries to get over the top of the secondary.
With head coach Luke Fickell and defensive coordinator Mike Tressel producing NFL players like Sauce Gardner and Coby Bryant in their secondary at Cincinnati, Wohler could be the next pro-caliber defensive back they mold.
After polling some team sources around the country, here are 15 defensive spring practice standouts you need to know. More info on each here: https://t.co/YeNlF5kXN4 pic.twitter.com/Ve93gBEUWm
