Despite an up-and-down 2020 campaign that saw the Wisconsin Badgers show promise at times but also struggle mightily at others, FOXSports college football analyst R.J. Young included them in the New Year’s Six in his latest 2021 bowl projection.
The projected destination? The Rose Bowl against the Utah Utes.

A trip to the “granddaddy of them all” next season would be the program’s seventh since 1998, fifth since 2010 and would give Paul Chryst and company a shot at avenging their 2019 defeat to the Oregon Ducks.

The season is months away and a lot will change between now and then, but the early-offseason hype is there for the Badgers as quarterback Graham Mertz enters his second season as the starter.
