The Badgers offered Mark Schroller, a three-star offensive tackle from Mission Viejo, California on Thursday. The 6-foot-6, 270 pound athlete still has one more year of high school football before he would potentially make the jump to the college level as a member of the class of 2024.
Schroller has now received four Division 1 offers, with Wisconsin joining Indiana as the second Big Ten program to offer. The Badgers have come to be known as a machine for producing NFL offensive lineman, so their offer certainly carries some weight for the California native.
For the class of 2024, Wisconsin has already brought in four-star quarterback Mabrey Mettauer (The Woodlands, Texas), four-star tight end Grant Stec (Algonquin, Illinois) and three-star tight end Robert Booker (Waunakee, Wisconsin).
After a great conversation with @CoachBicknell and @CullenLCasey, I am extremely excited and grateful to have received an offer to the University of Wisconsin! @diablocjohnson @TarquinStephen1 @AllegianceOL @GregBiggins @mikehuntley63 @ChadSimmons_ @missionfootball @adamgorney pic.twitter.com/qKsDPzaPFi
