The Badgers offered Deondrae “Tiger” Riden, a four-star running back from DeSoto, Texas on Wednesday. The class of 2025 athlete still has two years of high school football before he’d potentially make the leap to the collegiate level.
To this point, Riden has received 27 Division 1 offers, including powerhouse programs like Alabama, Michigan, Ohio State and USC. With Luke Fickell at the helm now in 2023, Wisconsin will have a shot to elevate their program’s status though, so don’t consider them a lost cause.
As Phil Longo takes over the offense this season, Braelon Allen should see more consistent running lanes, which could lead to a career year for the junior running back. In turn that could attract recruits like Riden moving forward.
