Wisconsin Offers 2022 In-State Prospect Jerry Cross

The Badgers on Thursday made an offer to the 2022 class when they extended a scholarship offer to Milwaukee Rufus King Jerry Cross

Wisconsin has been active on the recruiting trail over the last week. Outside of offering high school prospects in the 2021 recruiting class, the Badgers recently extended another offer in the 2022 class when they offered in-state prospect Jerry Cross.

Cross received his offer from Wisconsin this past Thursday. Cross is listed at 6’6″ and 220 pounds plays wide receiver for Rufus King in Milwaukee but due to his size, he projects to either tight end or defensive end at the college level.

Although it’s still early in Cross’ recruitment the Badgers represent his second offer as Iowa State has already offered Cross. In addition, to Cross’ two scholarship offers he’s also receiving interest from Iowa and Northern Illinois.

Wisconsin has yet to receive a commitment in the 2022 recruiting class but Cross is one of five in-state prospects to have already received an offer from the Badgers. The others to have been offered are Carson Hinzman, Joe Brunner, Braelon Allen, and Billy Schrauth.

Cross finished his sophomore season for Rufus King with 28 receptions for 533 yards and 11 touchdowns.
