In what appears to be a new weekly tradition for Wisconsin football, head coach Luke Fickell and crew will name players of the game on defense, offense, and special teams.
It’s no surprise that the offensive player of the game in the 38-17 win over Buffalo went to the backfield duo of Braelon Allen and Chez Mellusi. The two running backs combined for 298 yards on the ground and four touchdowns in the victory.
On the defensive side, it went to Gio Paez in the trenches and on special teams it went to wide receiver Haakon Anderson. It looks like the Badger head coach will be announcing this shortly after each Wisconsin win:
